MEP Associates, LLC is pleased to announce our next big project endeavor: Master Planning and Schematic Design of a new Central Energy Plant (CEP) for Ford Motor Company’s Dearborn Campus Transformation in Dearborn, Michigan. The 10-year transformation encompasses the new CEP, Campus Distribution Systems, and phased replacement of existing Research and Engineering Buildings. Collaborating with Ford, MEP Associates is extending the efforts of SmithGroup/JJR to optimize the development of a Low Entropy Campus with a highly efficient CEP. The CEP will be the cornerstone of the Low Entropy design, which seeks to displace an aging campus central steam system with a large geothermal system, low temperature water-based energy distribution loops, and on-site electrical generation via combined heat and power. Learn more about Ford’s exciting campus transformation.
